Flowers symbolize life and time, but the natural process of blooming and withering is an inevitable flow. With a sense of longing and regret for this impermanence, the artist sought to embody the presence of the flower in ceramics.
Ceramics, with its unique texture, color, and ability to remain unchanged over time, were chosen as the most fitting medium. In this piece, to capture the delicacy of the flower, each petal was carefully shaped, and natural color transitions were recreated through a gradient technique. Furthermore, the strength and durability of ceramics ensure that the flower remains unchanged, preventing it from wilting as time passes.
This ceramic flower is not just a decoration, but a piece that embodies timeless beauty and a love for nature. The process of creating a flower that does not wilt was a challenge that, while not defying the natural cycle, offers a way to preserve its beauty forever.
